Privacy Policy

Solyx is designed to keep your habit and Galaxy data on your device. This policy explains what the app stores and what limited information is handled by purchase and website services.
Information stored on your device
Solyx stores your habits, schedules, completions, reminder settings, planets, stars, constellations, onboarding answers, and app preferences locally on your device. Solyx does not operate an account system or upload this information to a Solyx server.
Website and contact information
This website does not accept email signups and does not load advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting provider, GitHub Pages, may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver and secure the website. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
If you previously provided contact information through this website, or contact support, you can request deletion by emailing support@solyxapp.com. Previously submitted contact information may remain with Kit until deleted; Kit's Privacy Policy describes its data practices.
Subscriptions and purchases
Apple processes Solyx purchases, including subscriptions and Lifetime access. Solyx uses RevenueCat to retrieve purchase options, restore purchases, maintain purchase access, and measure purchase performance. RevenueCat processes purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier for these purposes. Solyx does not receive your payment-card information.

Reminders
Habit reminders are optional local notifications. Notification permission is requested only when you enable a reminder. Reminder content is scheduled through Apple’s notification system and is not sent to a Solyx server.
Data export and deletion
You can export your visible Solyx data as a JSON file from Settings. The file is created on your device and is shared only with a destination you choose.
You can use Delete Galaxy in Settings to remove habits, completions, stars, constellations, discovered planets, reminders, and visible preferences from the app. Purchase records and limited anti-abuse safeguards may remain in Apple, RevenueCat, or the device Keychain as needed to preserve purchase access and reward integrity.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Solyx does not show advertising, sell personal data, use an advertising identifier, or track you across apps or websites.
Solyx uses RevenueCat for limited purchase analytics. When the purchase offer is displayed, the app records a paywall-view event with RevenueCat. The event identifies the paywall version, where it was opened (such as onboarding or subscription renewal), and the purchase offering. RevenueCat associates this event with its anonymous app user identifier and processes technical information, such as the event time and app and device information, to measure how often paywall views lead to purchases.
These events do not include habit names, schedules, completions, reminder text, onboarding answers, or the contents of your galaxy. Solyx does not record your screen or use PostHog or a separate service to track general feature usage. Purchase, subscription, and paywall analytics records are processed and retained under RevenueCat's data practices; deleting your galaxy removes local app data, not those service records. Contact support with questions or privacy requests about this information.
Children’s privacy
Solyx does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Habit information remains on the device because Solyx has no account or server-side habit-data collection.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Solyx’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when that happens.
