Your data
Privacy Policy
Effective September 10, 2026
Solyx is designed to keep your habit and Galaxy data on your device. This policy explains what the app stores, what limited information is handled by subscription services, and what the Solyx website collects when you join the waitlist.
Information stored on your device
Solyx stores your habits, schedules, completions, reminder settings, planets, stars, constellations, onboarding answers, and app preferences locally on your device. Solyx does not operate an account system or upload this information to a Solyx server.
Website waitlist
If you join the waitlist on solyxapp.com, Solyx collects the email address you submit so it can send confirmation, development updates, and launch news. The waitlist is operated using Kit, which processes this information on Solyx’s behalf. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email or request deletion by contacting support.
Kit handles information according to its Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and purchases
If you view, purchase, or restore a Solyx subscription, Apple processes the transaction. Solyx uses RevenueCat to retrieve products and maintain subscription access. RevenueCat may process purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier to confirm access. Solyx does not receive your payment-card information.
Apple and RevenueCat handle information according to their own policies:
Reminders
Habit reminders are optional local notifications. Notification permission is requested only when you enable a reminder. Reminder content is scheduled through Apple’s notification system and is not sent to a Solyx server.
Data export and deletion
You can export your visible Solyx data as a JSON file from Settings. The file is created on your device and is shared only with a destination you choose.
You can use Delete Galaxy in Settings to remove habits, completions, stars, constellations, discovered planets, reminders, and visible preferences from the app. Purchase records and limited anti-abuse safeguards may remain in Apple, RevenueCat, or the device Keychain as needed to preserve subscription access and reward integrity.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Solyx does not show advertising, sell personal data, use an advertising identifier, or track you across apps or websites. Solyx does not include a third-party analytics SDK.
Children’s privacy
Solyx does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Habit information remains on the device because Solyx has no account or server-side habit-data collection.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Solyx’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when that happens.
